This year HAM club, IIT Kanpur presents you with some real exciting events in Techkriti '10 like Telekino and Electrobuzz apart from its evergreen Fox-Hunt and a Lecture Series from amateur experts. Reach here for more info.
Telekino will comprise of designing an IR transmitter and receiver. The transmitter will be used to play tic-tac-toe on an LED matrix connected to the receiver. IMPORTANT: Use of MCUs is not allowed. Deadline for abstract submission is 28 December. Send your abstract here.
Then comes the Electro-buzz. It's an on-the-spot event. Will comprise of a prelim and a final round. In prelims, you will be given a lecture on SDR and a written test will be taken individually from all the team members. Based on combined team performance, you get into final and then you have to make a circuit on the spot!!
Then is the Fox Hunt. Another on the spot event. And I think this event need not be explained!!
