Tatum continued, "Our 2007 seminar program has been fine-tuned to help students understand the real advantages of the Fieldbus Foundation's technology. The seminar curriculum now focuses on three key subjects. The first area is open, scalable integration. The next module, focusing on process integrity, talks about distributing control to field devices, function blocks, and asynchronous communications. We then go into business intelligence, including advanced diagnostics, asset management, and OpEx savings with fieldbus."
In addition to a technical program, the São Paulo seminar will include tabletop displays of the latest FOUNDATION fieldbus products and solutions.
Sponsors/exhibitors include: ABB, Emerson Process Management, Fieldbus Center at Lee College, Honeywell, MooreHawke, MTL, Pepperl+Fuchs, R. Stahl, Rockwell Automation, Smar, Tri-State University, Turck, and Yokogawa.
