Seminar The NN09 is the Internationally established world-class event in Nanosciences and Nanotechnologies (N&N) that focuses on the latest advances on N&N and promotes profound scientific discussions between scientists and researchers from different disciplines. Scientists and Engineers from multidisciplinary research and application areas are asked to join this conference, to discuss the benefits of N&N in their R&D efforts, to advance the networking and collaborating between different academia, research and industry players in the field and to stimulate the exchange of educational concepts.

The Conference will include invited lectures from leading scientists and industry experts, oral and poster presentations, and nanotechnology instrumentation exhibition and surrounding events. The NN09 satellite events organized in the beautiful, sunny and romantic Thessaloniki, filled with sightseeing sites, museums, ancient ruins & temples and magnificent beaches in the surrounding area, as Halkidiki will leave memorable impressions to all participants.

The Conference has been established since 2004 and it is an annual meeting gathering the front-line researchers, scientists, engineers and industry experts specialized in the fields of N&N. At NN08, 260 participants from 43 countries attended the conference, whereas the presentations exceeded 220, most of which appeared in the Journal Materials Science and Engineering B. This year at the NN09 we expect more than 300 participants from all over the world.
NN09 will be combined with the 3rd International Summer School on N&N (SS-NN09), which will include several lectures from internationally acknowledged experts in NN, Organic Electronics and Nanomedicine. Last year 50 students have attended the SS-NN08 with great success.

NN09 key objective is to promote profound scientific discussions between different disciplines and to discuss the benefits of N&N in their R&D efforts, networking and collaboration between different academia, research and industry players in the field and to stimulate the exchange of educational concepts. We are glad to announce the participation of internationally acknowledged top speakers who will present the state-of-the-art of specific areas and hot topics on N&N that will open up new perspectives in the coming years.

The Conference will include invited lectures from leading scientists and industry experts, oral and poster presentations, and nanotechnology instrumentation exhibition and surrounding events.

Special emphasis in NN09 will be given to the participation and contribution of young researchers and students.
The NN09 and SS-NN09 are organized by "N&N" , NanoNet, and LTFN.
