You have to have just a computer with COM port and PC/PPI cable (or RS232/485 converter). PC/PPI cable can be extended minimum 100 meters or more.
The demonstration program Simulator S7.1 is free for first 30 days and Allows simulating PLC S7 200 inputs (I0.0 - I0.7). The full version of this program allows getting access to the full range of input memory bits. | | | Filesize: | 341.01 Kb | | Added on: | 03-Aug-2006 | | Downloads: | 161 | | Rating: | 1.0 (1 Vote) | | Category: | PLC / Softwares | | Homepage | Details | Comments (1)
Comm_S200_1_0.dll | | Description: | Full source included. Allows communicating with PLC S7 200. No special software/hardware/license are required. You have to have just a computer with COM port and PC/PPI cable (or RS232/485 converter). PC/PPI cable can be extended minimum 100 meters or more. This application allows to monitor:
96 inputs, 96 outputs, 64 memory bits, 96 TD200 messages bits, 4 real numbers, 22 WORDS/INTEGER numbers
DEMO Comm_S200_1_0.dll was tested on:
PLC CPU 226, Computer Pentium P4, Delphi 5, Some of functions was tested in VB 5,6 (but not all) | | | Filesize: | 712.49 Kb | | Added on: | 03-Aug-2006 | | Downloads: | 144 | | Rating: | 10.0 (1 Vote) | | Category: | PLC / Softwares | | Homepage | Details | Comments (1)
TCP_IP client-server for SIMATIC S7-200 XXX PLC | | Description: | TCP/IP client-server for SIMATIC S7-200 XXX PLC has functionality the same as Comm_S200_1_0.dll (look below), but it has client/server architecture like OPC server and designed on TCP/IP platform. It is very easy for the using. You do not need to care of PPI protocol details. There is just string of simple structure, that you send via socket and you get simple string in an answer. Of course TCP/IP platform allows you to build distributed client/server internet/intranet applications or you can run server and several clients on the same computer. The client may be created in any kind of software, which support TCP/IP protocol or sockets. It may be Delphi, VC, VB, Excel, etc.
In a future I'm planning use on a server side additional features such as:
fax and e-mail receiving/sending, phone connections and so on.
This project was tested on:

BitCom | | Description: | .Monitoring System for monitoring of 214, 215, 216, 221, 222, 224, 226 Siemens PLCs. No special software/hardware/license are required. Just a computer with COM port and PC/PPI cable (or RS232/485 converter). PC/PPI cable can be extended minimum 100 meters or more.The project can run under Win95/98/2000/XP and allows to monitor 214, 215, 216, 224, 226 Simatic S7 PLCs: 96 messages and alarms (16 messages and 80 alarms). TD200 allows only 80, 96 inputs, 96 outputs, 64 memory bits, 4 real numbers, 22 WORDS/INTEGER numbers. | | | Filesize: | 812.98 Kb | | Added on: | 03-Aug-2006 | | Downloads: | 89 | | Category: | PLC / Softwares | | Homepage | Details
TCP_IP client-server for GE FANUC PLC | | Description: | Full source included. This project was designed for the purpose of communication PC with GE Fanuc PLC using MODBUS protocol and has client-server architecture like OPC Servers. But the major difference from OPC is TCP/IP engine, which allows the multithread connections to the server application. It means that several clients can "talk" to the server at the same time from the same PC or different PC as well as from different environment such as VC, VB/VBA, Delphi, Excel, and others. Using this system, developer doesn't carry of server architecture. For purpose of the access to MODBUS protocol you should send/receive string of very simple structure. You even shouldn't know about RS485/232 protocol communication. It is built-in.
For more detail understanding of all features I'm attaching the full source code and additional components Comport264 and TryIcon.
In this project I used code of multithread Socket, which is written by Dirk Claessens (http://users.pandora.be/dirk.claessens2/ ) and I used a lot of David Chokler advices (dchokler@rogers.com). He is a high level specialist in control systems and also my friend.
This project written in Delphi5 and was tested in Windows XP on GE-Fanuc VersaMax. But it can be run on any others Window platforms and different kinds of PLC, which support MODBUS protocol. I think so, but not tested. That's why I'll be so happy if I'll receive the feedbacks from somebody, who succeeded to run this system, using the configuration distinguished from mine as well as the bugs which of course take place in the first version. | | | Filesize: | 536.13 Kb | | Added on: | 03-Aug-2006 | | Downloads: | 74 | | Category: | PLC / Softwares | | Homepage | Details
