Nice link mutaz, I always go straight to a manufacturers data sheet for that sort of information.

And remember that there are lots of other ways to measure the level in a tank; Ultrasonic, Radar, Capacitance, Submersible Hydrostatic, Gamma etc, etc.
Hydrostatic (Pressure cell) is one of the most popular as it goes back to the good 'ol days when everything was pneumatic and there wasn't much else to choose from

Capacity 27 m3
i have fixed DP type ABB level transmitter...
it has range 0-3 m
LRV -60 to +60
LP open to atmosphere
what LRV & URV have to set?

Dear frnz,
i hav a problem with ABB DP type level transmitter,
-60 to +60
For my DM plant degassified water storage tank,
open tank (like deaerator) drum but temp 27 deg C
height : 3000mmwc
Tapping point : height 120mm from the tank bottom,
tank inside water,
but its level variation is higher not constant,
kindly help me to calculate LRV and URV

hi friends I want to calibrate rosemount dpt for drum level. What are the parameters we have to consider and how to calibrate it. Please help me in this concern.
