Post subject: Quiz: Find out the bulbs

Question: In the basement there are 3 light switches in the off position. Each switch controls 1 of 3 light bulbs on the floor above. You may move any of the switches, but you may only go up stairs one time. How can you determine which switch controls each light?

Switch on the first switch then any of the three bulb will glow, then according to the order of the switches and bulbs we can find the switch for each other bulbs.

Its not necessary that the bulb and switches are not in same order
and when you switch on any bulb you have to go upstairs and check which bulb is glowing
but you can go upstairs only once so when you go upstairs you have to say which switch is for which bulb

hiii
first swithch on the first switch...
wait for 5 min ...
now off the first one switch on the second one.....
go upstairs and one bulb wil glow...
touch the other two....
the cold bulb is connected to the switch which we never operated and
the hot one is the one which we kept ON for last 5 min....


Is this correct???

first ON any one of the switch
keep ON this switch for 3 minutes.the bulb corresponding to that switch will glow.
now put off this switch
now u ON other switch
the bulbcorresponding to this switch will glow.u go to upstair.
the bulb which is kept on for 3minutes will be hot.u can number that switch
one bulb is glowing.this swich is on
the other bulb is not glowing.this swich is off position
