Post subject: Designing of thyristory converter

A need to design a thyristory converter(dual converter=two sets of thyristors) for controlling of DC current motor, where system characteristics are as follows:

-network(supply) voltage :220-380v
50 hz (three phase)

-motor : 50kw (power)
250v (voltage)

it's required to calculate:
1- the circuit constants
2-drawing voltage and current plots at all ciruit points.
3-design pulse system circuit.

Hello, my knowledge isn’t to pristine but for your task number 2 you can apply ohm’s law, deciding whether it’s a series or parallel circuit you can find out the voltage draw and other things. I hope this helps you.
