Post subject: STATE SPACE QUESTION

How is everyone doing today. This is just a quick question. Just wanted to know if someone could work out this problem for me. It would help me a great deal as it is a past paper question for my exam coming up tomorrow!

A process plant is modelled (using standard nomenclature) as :-

Y(s)= 4/ s(s+2) [U(s)+ W(s)]

If you have a regulator, K=[4, 0.5], determine the closed loop characteristic
polynomial for the arrangement and thus determine the damping factor, natural
frequency of oscillation and DC gain of the system
