On my job I am working on a proejct "AMT control unit (Automated Manual Transmission control unit)" for cars
Well as the name suggest, we are designing an electronic control unit which will allow the driver to shift gears up/down in manual mode just with a press of button or in auto mode our control unit will shift gears depending on speed. we started this project in 2004 and will be completing this in 2007.
As hobby I developed this website (it took me almost 2-3 months) and well the development of this site will be ever ongoing with new ideas/features to be added. will be developing my own personal site soon.

Post subject: My Projects

WOW, in a nutshell.

1983-1989 - Oil Company (North Dakota, Wyoming, & California)
Oilfield Pump Mechanic / Instrumentation Technician
Got into PLCs in late 83.

1989-1991 - Project Technician / Project Engineer for a
Systems House in Denver. Instrumentation/PLC spec,
panel building, and system start-ups.

- Worked on Water/Wastewater plants in Colorado,
New Mexico, Arizona, and Montana.
- Worked on the containerizing and palletizing
automation of a cheese factory in Phoenix.
- Worked on the PLC controls of an alignment machine
at the Buick, Olds, Caddi plant in Lansing, Michigan.
- Spent six months in 1991 doing calibration and start-up
at the Biospehere II project north of Tucson, AZ.

1991-Now - Sr. Control System Specialist for an
Engineering/Construction company at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal
in Colorado. Our company operates six groundwater treatment
plants that capture and treat contaminated groundwater before
it gets off of the Arsenal.

- I have networked all of the plants on the 27 square
mile site with fiber optic / wireless ethernet.
- The plants are all controlled by AB PLCs with some
of the equipment packages being controlled by OEM
supplied 'other' PLCs (Omron, PLCDirect, Idec...)
- The plants all have RSView for local control
- And, I have a package on my desk that monitors the
other packages and spits data into a SQL database. The
RSView package on my desk allows me access wherever I
can get on the internet with my laptop as well as
allowing access to the Operations personnel all over the
Arsenal with Active Display.
- The plants have kept me pretty busy in the 15 years
that I've been out here, in fact, I've only left
for two other projects in the timeframe. Both were for
five months each, and both were in 1995.
- The first was to work on a Solvent Extraction
treatment plant in Texas.
- And the second was to work on a Gold Mine in
Fairbanks Alaska that my company was doing the
Construction Management on.

So.... Here I sit, reading interesting posts about PLCs and
various automation projects, keeping my plants running, and
anxiously awaiting next year's budget so I can update and
learn more new technology.

I am doing my final year project , "Robust control of process with time delay". . .it is about controlling a pipeline flow process with time delay, as the main goal is designing a robust control of the process.." good looking control system at the end"..

Based on what I have written earlier (a description of my project)..
Here it is below..

I am doing my final year project , "Robust control of process with time delay". . .it is about controlling a pipeline flow process with time delay, as the main goal is designing a robust control of the process.." good looking control system at the end"..

Does anyone have gone or heard about similar thing to what I am doing as I am looking for relevant references, documents that may help.

Thanks,

Yassin
