hi everybody...
I like to know how can I start with the IEEE 1459-2000. I mean I want to simulate all the single phase power definitons in MATLAB/SIMULINK.
Thank's for your replies |

Hi Bumbo_Kla
Didnt exactly understood from your question what you are asking help for?
Do you have the IEEE 1459-2000 Standard with you, also do you have MATLAB/Simulink software and what toolboxes you have?
If you provide more detalils about exactly what you are looking for then it will be easier to help you |

ok, may you're right...
my intention is to develop or to introduce all the single phase sinusoidal and mainly nonsinusoidal definitions using Matlab/Simulink/Simpowersys. I've got the IEEE 1459-200, that's right...
I'm looking for a partner who can lead me in this project...
Thank's in advanced... |

Hi,
Well I can help you with using matlab and developing models using the same.
I use matlab in my job too so can guide you in that respect
Let us know how much familiar you are with matlab? and are you doing this as a college project or something else if possible details will be better
I dont have the standard with me but it will be better if you put one definition as example in here |

Hi instruite...
I'll share with you the IEEE 1459-2000
and please refer to nonsinusoidal conditions and anex A1 |

my knowlegde...?
how do i do that possible...?
It's a kind of preliminary test...?
well, actually I'm using Matlab 6.5 (R13) Simulink 5 (R13)
thanks for your reply |

I will suggest you to initailly start simulatng the circuits in the standard for normal alternating voltages using the Sim Power Systems. Since you have Sim Power systems toolbox you wont have to model the electrical components with transfer functions. It will be pretty easy to simulate those electronic components |

Hi instruite
I'm sharing with you my modelling in Matlab6.5 Simulink5 (R13) in Simpowersys
As you have read the entire IEEE Std. 1459-2000.
My goal is to simulate or get plot related to singel-phase nonsinusoidal power
Thanks for your time
DD: the file is mdl extension |

thanx for sharing your work
but presently in my office Matlab version is older than yours so its not able to open the file
I will try it later at home |

hi..
don't you have any comment
indeed I don`t know how to treat the results of the discrte fourier block
I mean hot to use every magnitud and phase of every harmonic...
just to solve the equation related to nonsinusoidal power definition
thanks for your time.. |

Hi
Sorry I have been busy with my office work for past month (almost working 16-20 hrs a day including weekends )
and in office Matlab version is older so I cannot check your files in office
will let you know my comments as soon as I get time to do so at home |
