Post subject: Basic information of IMP813

The IMP813 is designed as the CMOS supervisor circuit monitor which generates a reset signal during power-up, power-down and during brownout conditio-ns. This device can be used in many different fields such as computers and embedded controllers, battery-operated systems, intelligent instruments, wireless communication systems and PDAs and handheld equipment. Also this device is available in 8-pin DIP, SO and MicroSO packages.
There are some features of the IMP813 as follows:(1)improved replacements for the Maxim MAX705/6/7/8, MAX813L: 140μA maximum supply current and 60% improvement; (2) debounced manual reset input; (3) precision power supply monitor: 4.65V threshold (IMP705/707/813L) and 4.40V threshold (IMP706/Cool; (4) 200ms reset pulse width; (5)watchdog timer (IMP705/706/813L); (6) voltage monitor: 1.25V threshold and battery monitor/auxiliary supply monitor; (7)Active HIGH reset output (IMP707/708/813L); (8)microSO package.
The absolute maximum ratings of the IMP813 can be summarized as follows:(1) input current at Vcc and GND:20 mA; (2) output current: all outputs:20 mA; (3) Vcc:-0.3V to 6.0V; (4) all other inputs:-0.3V to (Vcc+0.3V); (5) plastic DIP power dissipation (derate 9 mW/°C above 70°C):700 mW; (6) rate of rise at Vcc:100V/μs; (7)SO power dissipation (derate 5.9 mW/°C above 70°C):470 mW;(8)microSO power dissipation (derate 4.1 mW/°C above 70°C):330 mW;(9)storage temperature range:-65°C to 160°C;(10)lead temperature soldering(10 sec):300°C.
